Uniforms are partly good and partly not. Good in the sense that one can easily be identified from many in times of a problem like an accident or misplacement. It will be easy to locate someone even when he or she is in a multitude. On the other hand putting on uniform can be disastrous in the sense that if one has committed evil can easily be located. Similarly in case of trying to locate a criminal putting on uniform would scare away the suspects, hence making it very hard to carry out investigations that would eventually lead to arrests

My experience is that uniforms are still divisive as they look better on some people than others. So it is wrong to make people wear a uniform.

What if you cannot afford the uniform? Then it makes you stand out as being poor. Also some children are not allowed to study because they cannot afford the uniform. So I think uniforms are bad.

i disagree with you ,because if every student in school was to be given a right to dress in any way they wanted ,it would be a mess in school. because you wouldnt deffliciate between a teacher and a student and so a uniform is a key factor in the society
(tom(jinja) at May 31, 2018 12:35 pm)

Uniforms can provide a sense of unity and equality amongst peers. They remove class and financial markers and there are studies that show students in uniforms work better. However, they can also create a sense of distance from people NOT in the uniform

It helps to create a group (either at work or school), but this is also a form of control. I think for schools it’s mostly a good thing because it normalises an expectation of how to dress. Some kids might feel self conscious if their uniform is scruffy as it shows they are poor. But it is always good to be able to take a uniform off at the end of the day!

to a bigger extent it divides kids most especially where an organization can’t equally provide uniforms at the same time, while feel discriminated.

uniforms should be used in both working place hence to diffliciate who is a work and a schooler.
(Anonymous at May 31, 2018 12:03 pm)

I think they can do both. It gives a sense of collective ness and reduces the likelihood of kids being judged according to how well off people think they are

People should put on uniforms at work and school because they unite and help reduce pride in other people who would wish to brag with their different designs to hurt others or despise the ones who can not afford.
